Mega Green Rally

A Mega Green Rally was successfully organised by the Lions Club of Morigaon in collaboration with Anti Global warming society, Morigaon and Radhakrishnan central academy, Morigaon on 25 April with the active participation of 1,422 people comprising students, teachers, social workers, environmental activists, and members of the general public. The rally was conducted with the objective of spreading awareness among the common people and the student community regarding various pressing environmental and social issues.

The main focus of the rally was the conservation of biodiversity and the protection of the natural environment. Through banners, placards, slogans, and public interaction, the participants highlighted the importance of preserving forests, wildlife, water bodies, and ecological balance for the well-being of future generations.

Another significant objective of the rally was to spread awareness against global wars and conflicts, emphasizing the need for peace, harmony, and sustainable development across the world. The rally also strongly advocated for reducing the use of disposable plastic bags and encouraged people to adopt eco-friendly alternatives in their daily lives in order to reduce environmental pollution.

The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and youths, who carried meaningful messages promoting environmental protection and social responsibility.
