The Lions Club of Morigaon today carried out two meaningful service activities at its adopted institution, Singimari ME School, aimed at supporting underprivileged students and promoting environmental awareness.

As part of the initiative, the club distributed umbrellas to 28 economically disadvantaged students, ensuring that they are better equipped to attend school during the rainy season. Alongside this, a plantation drive was organized within the school campus, and 10 valuable saplings were distributed among students to encourage them to take part in preserving the environment.

A total of 18 Lion members, including the President, District Chairperson, Program Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and Service Chairperson, were present on the occasion. The President of the club addressed the gathering, explaining the motto of Lions Clubs International and the objectives behind the adoption of Singimari ME School.

Concluding the program, Secretary Lion Pranab Das offered sincere thanks to the school fraternity for their cooperation. The Headmaster of the school expressed deep gratitude to the Lions Club of Morigaon for undertaking such noble initiatives, which will leave a lasting impact on the students and the institution.
