The Lions Club of Morigaon successfully conducted a meaningful Induction-cum-Community Program at its adopted village, Morakolong, at 4:30 PM. The event witnessed the participation of 45 villagers, with a significant majority being women farmers.

The program was chaired by Club President Lion Dr. Lila Kanta Barthakur. A brief note on the objectives of the program was shared by District Chairperson Dr. Tuleswar Nath, newly inducted member Lion Pranab Borkataki, and Club Secretary Lion Pranab Das.

The village headman (Gaon Pradhan), Mr. Pankaj Daka, addressed the gathering and expressed heartfelt gratitude towards the Lions Club of Morigaon for their continued support.

As part of the program:

Five water filters were distributed among five families.

90 kg of vermicompost was distributed to 45 women farmers.

This community support initiative was led by Treasurer lion Niren Bora, Vice President Lion Sisir Sarma, Assistant Secretary Lion Raju Kundu, First Vice President Basu Ranjan Poul, and Lion Amiya Mahanta.
