Commitment to Community Services on 79th Independence Day of India

The Lions Club of Morigaon demonstrated its commitment to community service by distributing 500 Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) packets among the parade participants during the 79th Independence Day celebrations held at Tarunram Phukan Field.

The initiative aimed at ensuring the health and well-being of the participants, especially considering the physical demands of participating in the parade. The distribution was carried out as part of the club's efforts to uphold its motto of "We Serve" and contribute positively to the community event.

The Lions Club of Morigaon expressed gratitude to all participants and attendees of the Independence Day celebration for making the event a success. The club's members actively participated in the district-level program, showcasing their involvement in community welfare activities.

The event was held in the presence of district officials and a large gathering of locals, highlighting the spirit of patriotism and community service. President Lion Lila Kanta Barthakur along with other 20 lion members were taking part in the program.
