Awareness and Training Program on Self-Defense for Girl Students

The Lions Club of Morigaon successfully organized an Awareness and Training Program on Self-Defence for Girl Students at Morigaon College (Autonomous) on 18th March 2026. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation, with a total of 438 students in attendance.

The event was graced by Lion Mrs. Ami Devi as the resource person. She delivered a highly insightful, inspiring, and effective speech, emphasizing the importance of self-defense and personal safety for young women. Her interactive session with the students was engaging and informative, leaving a strong impact on the audience. The Lions Club of Morigaon expresses its sincere gratitude to her for her valuable contribution.

In addition, a team of five experts, led by Mr. Pranjal Borah, conducted a practical training session on self-defense techniques. The training was well-received by the students and proved to be highly beneficial. The Lions Club of Morigaon extends its heartfelt thanks to the expert team for their cooperation and for conducting such a fruitful and meaningful session.
